We could not have had a better day for the 2009 Mays Chapel Spring Festival. Graul's Markets organizes this festival each year to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Roundwood Center shop owners and managers in conjunction with SunTrust Bank and the Hannon Realty Group sponsor the festival with Graul's.
A gorgeous day that warmed into the 80's made for a wonderful afternoon. There was a balloon twister, man on stilts, a giant slide, and face painting for the kids while adults enjoyed free food, cooking demonstrations, wine tasting, and lots of giveaways from festival sponsors.

Graul's gave away free hot dogs and donated a portion of all of their sales to the American Cancer Society.
Cheryl Schaffer, SunTrust Bank Mays Chapel Branch manager took care of the children on the giant slide while Cheryl Davis, Assistant Branch Manager and bank tellers gave passersby lots of great freebies.
Diane Tydings with Keelty manned the popcorn machine and the owners of Sabor offered tasty free samples of their cuisine.
Michelle Brunner, owner of the Salon at Mays Chapel, gave away canvas totes and offered a raffle to win top-line salon products.
Jesse and our team member, Chevelle Welsh, helped me give away recycleable grocery bags, refrigerator note pads, and information about currently available homes in the area.
A live band added to the festive atmosphere and a great time was had by all.
