It was crisp, sunny day for the start of the Baby Boomer & Senior Expo held at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium on October 29th and 30th, but the weather certainly didn't stop the boomers and seniors from venturing out.
Thousands of seniors and boomers turned out for the event and Jesse and I were thrilled to have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful folks who stopped by our booth. Our real estate company, RE/MAX Acclaimed Realty, located across the street from the Maryland State Fairgrounds on York Road, sponsored the booth (pictured below) and we gave out lots of fun items from magnetic notepads to kitchen measures magnets to decks of playing cards with home buying and selling tips on them.
We also held a drawing - the individual named on the first entry form drawn won a $100 Gas Card and the second drawn won a Gift Bag from the Salon at Mays Chapel (located at Roundwood Center near Graul's) full of salon products and a gift certificate for a manicure and pedicure.
It was a great two days and we really enjoyed the opportunity to talk with so many people.
